As COO, Celene will coordinate internal and external communications, provide consulting on athletic endeavors, and organize running community initiatives. A New Yorker all her life, Celene is in the financial sales training program at Bloomberg LP. Previously Celene worked at the New York Sports Commission, which was dedicated to bringing sporting events to New York City. Celene ran on the varsity cross-country, indoor, and outdoor track teams in college and has also competed in basketball at the varsity level. Celene completed the ING New York City Marathon in 2004 and has coached high school cross country in Manhattan. Celene graduated with honors from Harvard University with a bachelorís degree in Psychology.
